親愛的藍灣好友們：

記得04/25的傍晚要舉行水中趣味競賽嗎？
記得04/25的晚上有2009年藍灣會員的春季聚餐及抽獎嗎？
但是也千萬不要忘記，當日的下午兩點，有一場急救的教學及訓練喔！

這次我們特別情商新竹市消防局為藍灣單獨開課，教授CPR心肺復甦術以及哈姆立克窒息急救法
雖然我們不希望身邊的任何人遭逢這些的意外，但是意外發生的時候，如果在場的你知道如何運用這兩種急救法，有可能你就拯救了一條寶貴的生命。
除了參與我們平日所舉辦的潛水活動外，我們更非常地希望藍灣的所有會員及朋友們，都能夠踴躍的參與這次的急救訓練活動。
CPR心肺復甦術：
CPR是心肺復甦術的英文簡寫。在1960年代美國國家研究委員會，鑒於CPR的施行沒有標準，特別是醫師接受CPR的訓練不完全，因此建議醫護人員要根據美國心臟學會的標準學習CPR的技術。這是CPR的開始。到1970年代中期，CPR始成為美國全國推廣的活動，至今在美國有超過4000萬人次接受過CPR訓練。
一般人發生事故，第一個想法就是把病人送到醫院，殊不知人的大腦如果失去血液流動，在４－６分鐘後，即將失去功能。我們送醫的過程常常超過這個時間。如果在送到醫院前我們能對於心跳呼吸停止的病人給予CPR的話，病人的救活率就會提高。

哈姆立克窒息急救法：
窒息是常見的意外，美國每年有三千以上的人哽死，而哽死更是佔小兒意外死亡原因的首位，這種意外假如急救得法毫無疑問能挽回大量不必要的死亡。1974年美國哈姆立克醫師發明了哈姆立克急救法。
窒息的急救非常緊急，假如不能在四分鐘內有開始急救，患者可能落到永久性痴呆的下場，因此旁觀者如何來判斷親友或顧客是否被食物哽住喉嚨了，或小兒是否被玩具或小石，銅幣哽住，是無比的重要。

But you also have to remember will will have a first aid training in the 04/25 14:00!

In 04/25, BBD invite the Hsinchu Fire Department to teach and training us the CPR(Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and Heimlich maneuver.
No one wants to see any accident happening to our family or friends, but unfortunately it happens sometimes. So, if you know how to do the two first aids, you might save a precious life.
So, besides joining our diving trip, we do really hope all our members and students to join the first aid training program.

CPR:
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a combination of rescue breathing and chest compressions delivered to victims thought to be in cardiac arrest. When cardiac arrest occurs, the heart stops pumping blood. CPR can support a small amount of blood flow to the heart and brain to “buy time” until normal heart function is restored.
Cardiac arrest is often caused by an abnormal heart rhythm called ventricular fibrillation (VF). When VF develops, the heart quivers and doesnt pump blood. The victim in VF cardiac arrest needs CPR and delivery of a shock to the heart, called defibrillation. Defibrillation eliminates the abnormal VF heart rhythm and allows the normal rhythm to resume. Defibrillation is not effective for all forms of cardiac arrest but it is effective to treat VF, the most common cause of sudden cardiac arrest.

Heimlich Maneuver:
The Heimlich maneuver is an emergency technique for preventing suffocation when a persons airway (windpipe) becomes blocked by a piece of food or other object. It can be used safely on both adults and children, but most experts do not recommend it for infants less than 1 year old. You can also perform the maneuver on yourself.
